Is white meat better for proper nutrition?

It’s better eliminate any food and the balance is as important as the variety in the food selection. However between white and red meat should be preferred the consumption of white meat (chicken, turkey, rabbit) as it contains a higher amount of polyunsaturated fats (which provide essential fatty acids for the production of substances with antiinflammatory activity) compared to the red meats ( veal, beef, pork) richer in saturated fat (lipid molecules responsible for the increase of LDL cholesterol in the blood).

The white meat is also recommended for athletes because it is light and so easily digestible.
