Do you know that chlamydia is one of the most common diseases among young?

Chlamydia is caused by a bacteria and it can be transmitted through unprotected sex. It is very important to treat it as soon as possible because if not treated , chlamydia can cause infertility, so the inability to have children, in men and also in women.

Due to the high prevalence among young people in Western countries we have introduced screening programs for people under 25. It is necessary  to do a test with a buffer for the search of the bacteria that causes chlamydia in the organism. In women with this buffer you can look for the bacteria in the vagina, cervix, rectum and mouth. In humans, however, you can look for the bacteria into the urethra, rectum and mouth. Today the test can be done easily even urine.

If the test is positive for chlamydia, you need to immediately antibiotic treatment to avoid complications. You have to at this point, however, subject to the same testing and possibly to the same treatment even your partner.

Usually the infection Chlamydia does not have particularly symptoms and usually for this reason, can be easy to ignore. In man the symptoms occur more with burning and secretions. In women, however, the symptoms can range from mild burning, itching and vaginal discharge. Remember that the only way to effectively prevent Chlamydia is always using a condom during sexual intercourse.
