Did you know Gonorrhea?

Gonorrhea is poorly understood but is widespread. It is caused by a bacterium that is transmitted during unprotected sex with people who have already contracted the disease. The bacteria responsible for gonorrhea causes infections of the rectum, cervix, anus or mouth.

Symptoms usually appear after 1-3 days after infection and tend gradually to disappear. Man is most assists of white-yellowish secretions, burning sensation when urinating and voltage to the testicles. In women, however, the most common symptoms are pain and burning sensation when urinating, increased vaginal discharge and in some cases vaginal bleeding between menstrual cycle and the next. The rectal infections cause instead itching, pain and sometimes anal bleeding. When the infection affects the oral cable instead, there is more pain in the throat and difficulty swallowing.

Gonorrhea can be cured with antibiotics. However, it is appropriate that the doctor changes the therapy if the symptoms continue for more days after the first dose of the antibiotic. At the end of the treatment it is required to test again to check for complete healing. And in fact is very important to treat the infection as soon as possible because if the infections remain untreated, can lead to severe inflammation and cause infertility, so inability to have children.

Gonorrhea is only prevented by using a condom during both genital and oral sex because this is an infections that can be easily transmitted during oral sex.
