HIV can be transmitted through unprotected sex, infected blood exchanges or from the HIV-positive mother during childbirth. If you have casual sex with people you don’t know helath status, use condoms. It should be used in any kind of sexual intercourse, genital, oral or anal sex. To be effective, remember that condoms must be used correctly, that is, from beginning to the end of the sexual intercourse.
For oral sex in which is the woman that receives (cunnilingus), use the dam or a classic condom cut horizontally.
HIV is not transmitted through saliva, kisses and masturbation. Transmission of HIV virus in fact occurs by contact with organic liquid, not through skin.
