Is there a vaccine for hepatitis?

In Italy vaccine for the prevention of hepatitis B is mandatory at birth since the early 90s of last century and almost all of Italian children and adults today are protected against this form of hepatitis.

Vaccine for hepatitis A is not mandatory however. It consists of an inactive virus that must be administered intramuscularly in the arm. After about 20 days it is already covered, but is also prescribed by the medical practitioner a booster dose to increase protection for 10 years.
