What are the consequences of HPV infection?

0

If untreated, warts tend to expand and increase in volume, making it more difficult and long subsequent treatment. They tend also to be transmitted more easily to partner, making the elimination of the problem more difficult and increasing the risk of transmission to others. In some cases, the HPV infection, if not treated for many years, may lead to cancer. If you doubt of having contracted HPV you can go to specialized centers of the National Health Service.
