Candida: what are the consequences if untreated?

There are cases in which candida is manifested in a very mild manner, however, if untreated, it rarely regress alone. In severe cases it can lead to serious consequences such as damage to the mucous membranes, alteration or expansion to internal organs and systems (especially in low immunity subjects).
