If syphilis is left untreated can cause complications charged to the cardiovascular system, nervous and some organs and systems. Don’t worry because before reaching complications of this type, syphilis must go through several stages. In the case of primary syphilis, sores can appear in about twenty days, but heal itself. If this first phase is underestimated and untreated, syphilis progresses to the secondary stage and is manifested by a reddish or brown spots. In this case may also be sore throat, headaches, fatigue and fever. The most dangerous stage is finally that of advanced syphilis, even when the secondary stage has been underestimated and not taken care of. In this last phase the person may also submit paralysis, mental confusion, gradual blindness.
