How much sexually transmitted diseases are prevalent in our country? Which are the most common disease?
The most common sexual infection in Italy are HPV, with 33% of the total, followed by gonorrhea and syphilis. Among bacterial infections, however, chlamydia is the most extensive, especially among women. In fact, this disease, as well as others, are asymptomatic, so the infection can take place in an unconscious way, and above all, not showing symptoms.
