Do creatine supplements promote muscle development?

0

Creatine is promoted as a supplement that increases phosphocreatine concentration and energy reserves in muscles, but it has been shown that it is only effective during short anaerobe exercises (from 2 to 30 seconds) and not for aerobic activity

A creatine excess involves weight gain, as a consequence of increased water retention; have also  been observed kidney sufferance.

Remember that creatine is normally contained in meat and fish, and that our  body is able to produce himself through certain amino acids.

The daily requirement of this substance is about 2g, on the other hand the consuption of creatine supplements inhibits its natural synthesis
