Is sport good?

Sport is, along with a balanced diet, an important aspect of maintaining an healthy lifestyle, a psycho-physical well-being, but also to reduce the probability of occurrence of diseases linked to overweight and obesity, and eating disorders.

Practicing sports activities regularly, at least 2 times a week, helps to increase endurance, muscular strength, and improve respiratory efficiency and mood. However, sometimes the exercise becomes a real obsession, in certain eating disorders, as in the case of bulimia because it is used as a method to compensate the applicants binges or, as in bigorexia, to exasperate bodily forms perceived by the subject as not so strong.
