My mood can be influenced by the food?

Mood and nutrition are closely linked in many different ways. There are foods that act as mood modulators thanks to the molecules they contain. Just think of cocoa, which contains the molecules from which the body gets serotonin, the neurotransmitter that makes us “feel good”, or coffee which makes us nervous.

Sometimes the act of eating only can alleviate a mood or  make us happy. For example, if we wanted to eat for a long time that food.

Some moods have repercussions on the nutrition, just think of the nervous hunger or to the “knot in my stomach” when we are sad. This also happens because the brain function of mood and eating behavior modulation lie in the same area of the brain.
